On the southern edge of the island there is a tourist centre Playa Blanca. You may see there the spectacular view of the islet Isla de Lobos and the shining dunes of Fuerteventura. Playa Blanca is much more quiet and peaceful than Puerto del Carmen. This place is full of white small houses scattered across the few kilometers of the flat and sunny coast. The port is full of boats while the sea promenade takes you to the charming bays. There are plenty of bars and restaurants all around.
